Model Arbitration Clause
The Sydney International Arbitration Centre (SNIAC) recommends that parties include the following model arbitration clause in their contracts:
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Contract, including any question regarding its existence, validity or termination, shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration administered by the Sydney International Arbitration Centre (SNIAC) in accordance with the SNIAC Arbitration Rules in force at the commencement of the arbitration, which Rules are deemed to be incorporated by reference into this clause.
The seat of arbitration shall be [City, Country].
The arbitral tribunal shall consist of [one/three] arbitrator(s).
The language of the arbitration shall be [language].
The law governing this arbitration agreement shall be the law of [jurisdiction].

Optional Governing Law Clause
Parties may also specify the substantive law governing the Contract. SNIAC recommends the following governing law clause:
This Contract shall be governed by the substantive law of [jurisdiction].
Note. This model clause is recommended for general use only. Parties may adapt the clause or include additional express provisions to suit their needs, provided that any such provisions comply with the mandatory laws of the chosen seat and are consistent with the SNIAC Arbitration Rules.
